Twenty-one student athletes sign letters of intent

It was a proud moment for 21 student athletes, their parents, coaches, and schools when they signed letters of intent and scholarship agreements with U.S. colleges and universities on Wednesday.

The signing ceremony took place at Paradise Pizza in Nu’uuli and attended by DOE Director Maefau Dr. Mary Taufetee, Director of the Department of Youth and Women Affairs Tapumanaia Galu Satele Jr., and officials of New Mexico Highlands University, New Mexico Military Institute, and Allan Hancock Junior College California.
