
The American Samoa Community Cancer Coalition (ASCCC) held a grand opening of its new office space at the Alofa Office Building in Tafuna last Thursday.
Bishop Kolio Tumanuvao Etuale, who offered prayers and blessed the new office, reminded attendees of the power of faith and service in uplifting the community.
Lt. Governor Pulumataala Ae Ae Jr. delivered special remarks, emphasizing the vital role the ASCCC plays in providing cancer awareness, prevention, and support services across the territory. 
He congratulated Executive Director Dr. Vaatausili Tofaeono and the ASCCC team for their unwavering dedication and for reaching this significant milestone. Pulumataala encouraged all in attendance to lead healthy lifestyles and avoid behaviors that could compromise their well-being. First Lady Dr. Lois Phillips Pula, who cut the ribbon to officially open the new office, to officially open the office.
The facility features state-of-the-art amenities including exam rooms, a dedicated MRI scanning room equipped with a portable MRI machine, a laboratory, administrative offices, and a welcoming lounge area for staff.
