The Toa Drone Team from Tafuna High School was crowned the 2025 Aerial Drone Champions at the 8th Brigade Aerial Drone Tournament Champions in Reno, Nevada.
Held February 21-22, the tournament saw competition from JRTOC teams in Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, Washington, Wyoming and American Samoa. The Toa Drone Team was also awarded the Teamwork Champions.
The team returned home Tuesday night and received a warm welcome from parents, students, and school officials.
