On Wednesday morning, the House of Representatives approved Vaetagaloa Glenn Lefiti as Director of the Department of Homeland Security.
The House vote was 16-1.
This clears the way for Vaetagaloa to take up his cabinet position.
The Senate voted unanimously on Tuesday to confirm him. He is the fourth member of the cabinet to be cleared by the Fono.
