Police have closed their investigations into the death of a man whose body was discovered in his auto shop at Mapusaga, earlier this month.
According to Captain Savelio Vaofanua, Acting Head of the Criminal Investigations Division, they have concluded that the man, who was of Indian descent, took his own life.
He was in his 40’s and operated buses and an auto shop. The incident happened on May 1st.
There were suspicions that foul play was involved due to injuries found on the man’s body. But, according to Captain Vaofanua, their investigations determined he took his own life.
