Congratulations to the Tafuna High School JROTC Toa Robotics and Toa Robotics 2.0 teams.

They have scooped up awards at the Vex World Robotics Championships in Dallas.

The teams won the Create Award National Championship, the second year in a row that Tafuna has won the award, Robot Skills Champion for Live Remote Skills Event and
Judges Award National Championship.

The two teams were assigned to different brackets, and each bracket had 68 teams. To win one of the 11 awards, a team had to beat every other team in their bracket. And the Tafuna Warriors team did just that, a major accomplishment.

Toa Robotics team: Charles Tauiliili (Team Captain), Nicholle Sualevai, Danny Young, Joseph Spitzenberg, & Emanuele Ah Vui.

Toa Robotics 2.0 team: Isalei Liaiga (Team Captain), Ladenia Lavatai, Francis Ah Vui, Filiga Tufa, & Taipo Sia.

Mentors/Coaches: MAJ Siimoa Galoia & MSG Acania Puletasi.
