A fire in one the old school buildings at Pavaiai Elementary School, Tuesday morning, forced the cancellation of classes.
The fire started before students arrived and affected 4 classrooms.
For the safety of students, it was decided to cancel classes for the whole school.
School officials said it may take a while to repair the damaged building, and they are looking at the best way to accommodate affected classes for the remainder of the school year.
