Households selected for the Census of Agriculture for American Samoa are strongly urged to provide answers when enumerators come by. They will be asking about land use, the types of crops they grow, income and expenditures and other information.
Donald Buysse of the US Department of Agriculture says the information will be especially useful to determine federal assistance for American Samoa following natural disasters.

The Department of Commerce announces that the enumeration for Tutuila begins Saturday, February 10.
Staff are in Manu’a now for the training of enumerators there, and the survey will begin in Manu’a next week.
