
A farewell reception at Stevensons Resort at Manase, Savai’i to end the Atoa o Samoa meeting was held Thursday evening Samoa time with Governor Lemanu Peleti Mauga and Samoa Prime Minister Fiame Naomi Mataafa saying the discussions had been fruitful.
The local delegation view many developments in Savaii , especially agriculture and fisheries facilities.
Samoa Observer reports the leaders of the two governments said the discussions were fruitful with some progress on issues raised and agreed to at the April meeting held in the territory.
Governor Lemanu thanked the government of Samoa for hosting yet another successful and fruitful discussion.
Prime Minister Fiame Naomi Mata’afa announced that the outcomes of the discussions had been circulated to the top officials from both governments before they sign off on what was discussed.
Governor Lemanu returned to the territory Thursday.
