
There are only 20 slots available for a workshop that would teach participants how to make unique crafts and jewelry from plastic waste.
It’s hosted by the American Samoa Visitors Bureau in partnership with the Pacific Tourism Organization, and will be held September 18th to the 20th at the ASPA conference room from 8:30am to 4pm.
The deadline to register is September 1st.
Instructors are experts from Fiji who specialize in plastic repurposing techniques.
Participants will learn how to turn discarded plastic bottles into beautiful and useful creations. They will be guided through the entire crafting process, including tools and safety, cutting, and shaping, and assembling.
And on the final day of the workshop, they will showcase the crafts and jewelry they’ll create.
