USGS scientists explain follow up research

There have been no additional earthquakes since the volcanic unrest at Tau, Manu’a, ended last October.

Two scientists from the U.S. Geological Survey are here to help strengthen partners with local agencies to assist in their research of the Manu’a volcano and also maintain the monitoring network they set up last year for data collection.

As guests on the Morning Show, Dr. Drew Downs and Natalia Devigne, who were here during the earthquake activity from the Manu’a volcano last year, described the work they’re doing and how it will help our understanding of volcanoes.
