Congresswoman Uifa’atali Amata railed against President Joe Biden, at a House Foreign Affairs hearing, for his reversal in deciding on a massive expansion of the Pacific Remote Islands Marine National Monument. KHJ News Washington DC a correspondent Matt Kaye reports…

The hearing was about China’s malign influence in the Pacific and the US effort, through FAS Compact negotiations, to push back.

But Congresswoman Amata complained that President Biden was doing the Pacific no favors with his decision to expand PRIMNM by more than half, further eroding prime fishing grounds for the US fleet.
