A specialist from Kapiolani Medical Center Honolulu and a University School of Medicine resident student wrapped up a week with the Pediatric Clinic at LBJ Hospital, today.
Dr. Kelly Hutchins, a Hematologist Oncologist Consultant, is here as part of a global health exchange program, where resident students from the John Burns School of Medicine spend time at the LBJ, accompanied by a physician.
We asked Dr. Hutchins, if there’s an increase in children with blood disorders or cancer.
