The Human Rights Protection Party leader Tuilaepa Sailele Malielegaoi has set his sights on suing the Faatuatua i le Atua Samoa ua Tasi founder and chairman, Laauli Leuatea Schmidt, and the church owned EFKSTV2 for defamation.
He told a press conference yesterday, that suing the church television station and La’auli will make sure they prove many allegations targeting him and his family.
Tuilaepa was critical of the television station and it’s blatant support of the FAST Party.
“The church’s duty is to ensure there is peace and unity,” he said.
Tuilaepa said, this was not the case with the EFKSTV2 and accused the station of creating division and stirring up the peace.
The former PM said, his family have become victims of public scrutiny because of the public and defamatory claims aimed at him.
Tuilaepa said that if La’auli had apologized to him, he would have forgiven him.
