An Emergency Room doctor has been recognized for her service in the LBJ Hospital’s quarterly awards.
She is Dr. Olita Laititi, who received high praise from a passenger on the “Celebrity Eclipse” cruise ship in January.
“Olita made a huge impression on me as being a very calming, extremely professional and super helpful person and doctor,” wrote the passenger.
“We felt so well looked after. I truly cannot think of a more perfectly conducted consult. To have such a caring and highly skilled doctor […] medically, as well as in terms of communication skills, must be a huge asset for your hospital.”
At the weekly meeting of medical staff this morning, Dr. Laititi was presented a certificate of recognition and a $500 cash award from the LBJTMC Authority Board.
