
A local company has donated $20,000 for the nurses at the LBJ Tropical Medical Center as a gesture of appreciation for all that they do for our people.
JS Tank Services, which specializes in the sandblasting and maintaining of tanks, such as the ones that store oil at Gataivai and diesel that power ASPA generators, made the generous donation today.
The company is owned by Marlene and Hapakuki John Fotuaika.
Mrs. Marlene Fotuaika handed the check to the CEO of the LBJ Hospital Moefaauo William Emmsley, in the presence of Acting Chief Medical Officer Dr. Akapusi Ledua, senior managers and nurses.

Receiving the donation, LBJ CEO Moefaauo expressed the hope that it will prompt other donors to follow suit.

Dr. Ledua then presented a certificate of appreciation to Mrs Fotuaika.
CEO Moefaauo said, they will discuss how best to use the donation for the maximum benefit of nurses.
