It was Christmas at the LBJ hospital yesterday.
Governor Lemanu, Lt. Governor Talauega, and their wives and staff, visited all the wards and some clinics and presented patients with Christmas gifts. All of the admitted patients in the various wards of the 150-bed hospital, as well as the Dialysis Clinic and Behavioral Health Clinic received Christmas gifts. The visitors also gave food trays for the staff.
The gifts were well received by patients and their caregivers as well as hospital staff. Most were touched that the government leaders actually visited them.
The Governor and Lt. Governor and their staff also visited and presented gifts to Hope House, and the Territorial Correctional Facility last week.
The visits and gift giving to the hospital, Hope House and TCF, have become a tradition from the time of the Lolo Lemanu Administration.
