Now on display at the Jean P Hayden Museum is an exhibition by a 15 year-old artist from Nuuuli, Talanoaifaivaoali’i (Tala) Jordan Lagafuaina Lagafuaina.
At his young age, the Tafuna High School students, has painted commissioned work, one of which was commissioned by the Friends of the Museum, a portrait of the first constitutional convention of American Samoa in 1961.
Tala, accompanied by his father, Manny Lagafuaina, talked on the Morning Show today about his paintings, the artists who inspires him and the 1961 ConCon painting.
