Bluesky is doing it again. Lighting up the sky with a fireworks show during the annual Coast Weeks celebration.
Coast Weeks 2022 is from September 12th-24th.
This year will be a special one for the Coastal Zone Management Program of the Department of Commerce, which organizes Coast Weeks.
2022 marks the 50th anniversary of the National Coastal Zone Management Act (CZMA), under which the CZM program is established and funded.
As part of its support this year, Bluesky has agreed to sponsor a Fireworks Show in the Bay Area, to top off the CZMA anniversary and Coast Weeks celebrations.
Bluesky is well aware of the challenges that residents faced during the COVID pandemic and is making the fireworks show possible to “celebrate our people and applaud their tenacious and resilient spirit.”
The Fireworks Show is set for September 24th, 2022, at 7:00 pm at the Su’igaula Beach Park in Utulei.
