Members withdraw $15.2 million of second NPF installment

Contributors to the Samoa National Provident Fund have already withdrawn $15,233,533 tālā of the $26.3 million tālā, earmarked for the second installment of their annual entitlements.

TV1Samoa quotes Chief Executive Officer of NPF, Pauli Prince Suhren, saying that payment of the second installment started last Friday and will continue until July 29th.

The first installment, totaling $24.4 million tālā, was paid out in April of this year.

A total of 14,814 contributors had already withdrawn entitlements, as of the end of this week.

The CEO added that the final payment of the next members entitlements will be December 1st, 2022.
