The director nominee for the Office of Public Information/KVZK-TV, Aaron Hall, will have to wait until the Fono convenes in July, for his confirmation hearing before the Senate.

The House confirmed Hall by unanimous vote last week, however, the resolution seeking his confirmation never made it out of committee in the Senate.

Hall was appointed as Deputy Director of the government TV station, in January of last year, at the start of the Lemanu Talauega Administration.

After the Senate rejected Lemanu’s first choice as Director of OPI, Aoelua Solomona Aoelua, in late January of this year, Hall took over as Acting Director.

Hall’s resume that was submitted, with his nomination, shows that he has 12 years of management experience.

Prior to joining OPI/KVZK-TV, he ran his own video company 684 Media, which he started in 2015.
