The Department of Human Resources is set to open registration for ASG employees and the general public interested in taking courses at the American Samoa Community College and be certified once they successfully complete all courses.
KVZK-TV reports this is a partnership between DHR and ASCC under the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity (WOIA) Program.
DHR is now intaking current ASG employees or those interested in the four career paths for which courses are currently available.
These include Certified nurses aid! Teachers Aid, finance tech, and information technology.
All course fees are covered by the program.
