A man from Malaeimi wanted for disturbing the peace is now facing drug charges after a pipe containing meths and marijuana was found on him during a body search.
Samoa News reports 30 year old Iosua Faitala was wanted by Police for allegedly threatening to cut off another man’s head.
Police found Faitala in a store at Futiga, arrested him and carried out a body search.
However he refused to make a statement after he had been Mirandaized.
He made his initial appearance last month where bail was set at $10,000.
Faitala is charged with unlawful possession of meth and unlawful possession of marijuana as well as with trespass and public peace disturbance.
