Hawaiian Airlines has yet to approve a proposed schedule from the American Samoa Government for flights in the second quarter of 2022.

Travelers in the mainland and Hawaii have been calling KHJ News to find out if a flight schedule for that period has been approved.

We can report that the proposed flight schedule for April to July has two flights per month.

Travelers have also reported that flights for January and February are fully booked and when they try to book for the March flights, Hawaiian Airlines’ system isn’t showing the two flights on March 10 and March 31.

Local Station Manager for Hawaiian Airlines Tuli Fruean  explained that reason why the Hawaiian Airlines flights for March are not showing on the airline’s booking system is because the flights are fully booked.

He said when flights don’t show on their  system, “it just means no one is able to confirm or make reservations as the flights are now blocked full. “

The flight dates for the first three months of 2022 are:

  • January 6
  • January 27
  • February 17
  • March 10
  • March 31
