As it has done since 2016, Pacific Independent Distributors, Inc (P.I.D.) in collaboration with Kimberly-Clark® presented a Special Gift Hamper to the parents of the First Baby of the Year.
A press release from PID announced that proud parents Lisale and Fiatuina Polevia were presented a special gift hamper. Their baby boy arrived at 12:23 am and weighed 8 lbs 6 oz.
Kimberly-Clark® is the manufacturer of Huggies and P.I.D. is the Distributors.
A Huggies Maternity Gift Bag was also presented to the parents of the only other baby born on New Years Day, another baby boy who weighed, 7 lbs 1 oz. he was born 8 pm on Jan 1st.
“Collectively, it is and has been their goal to provide a premium diaper at an affordable price therefore allowing parents to spend more quality time with their bundles of joy and less time worrying about leaks. Because Huggies believes in the power of hugs and your hugs inspire ours!”, said the press release.
In addition to welcoming the first babies of the year, PID Inc and its sister company, Pacific Elegance express a Faafetai Tele to all the doctors and nurses working tirelessly behind the scenes in taking care of mothers and babies .
As a token of appreciation for their service, the companies gave the 40 staff members of the OBGYN Unit, Labor Unit, Nursery Unit and the pediatricians & OBGyn doctors a $100 gift certificate each for a meal at the DDW Beach Café & Restaurant plus a Kimberly Clark Gift pack.
