Wheelchair-bound Arasi Milo has ha new set of wheels.
She was presented a brand new wheelchair last Friday during a ceremony at the Dept of Health Leo o Aiga Office in Fagatogo.
Ipuniuese Eliapo Unutoa of DOH said Arasi’s old wheel chair had outlived its purpose and she needed a new one for school and to attend community and family events.
Parents of Children with Special Needs Network, headed by Sandra Scanlan took the lead in looking for help to purchase a new wheelchair for Arasi and the positive response resulted in the presentation last Friday.
Scanlan did the honor of presenting the pink wheelchair to Arasi and her grateful parents.

Arasi’s father thanked DOH Scanlan, businesses and individuals who donated for their daughter’s wheelchair.
