TalofaPass system is working but needs fine tuning

As of yesterday close to 650 people had registered on the TalofaPass website which serves as the clearinghouse and registry for all those wishing to enter the territory.

Director of Medicaid, Sandra King-Young says they are trying to iron out some common problems which may be causing headaches for those logging on to the system.

20% of the complaints stem from users panicking when there are delays in responses from some agencies, she noted. There are also cases where a traveler has successfully registered, uploaded their documents and is cleared to travel on a certain date. But then they decide to take a child or an adult relative with them.

King Young says in such instances, the traveler should cancel their approved application and start a new one.
