Around 8:30 this morning an east bound bus overturned after crashing into a dumpster at Aua village. Close to 20 passengers on the bus suffered injuries but thankfully there was no fatality.
A nearby resident told KHJ News that from what he saw, the bus was traveling at high speed and had to swerve into the roadside dumpster to avoid crashing with a vehicle coming in the opposite direction that was turning in.
He said rescuers pulled passengers out through windows and the back of the badly damaged bus.
Hospital sources said a few of the injured were admitted while the rest were treated and released.
