It’s now official. Effective today March 16, Governor Lemanu Peleti Mauga has ordered that the Veterinarian Clinic, including all personnel and assets assigned to the clinic are transferred from the Dept of Agriculture to the Dept of Health.
The governor ordered that the directors of the two departments shall cooperate with each other as well as the Treasurer and directors of Human Resources, Program Planning and Budget and Office of Property Management to ensure a smooth transition and transfer of responsibilities between the departments.
The transfer of the Vet Clinic from DOA to DOH was first floated last year.
