The Pago Pago Post Office is extending its hours today to accommodate those picking up packages and sending out mail.
Post Master Tao Suani said the Post Office will open from 8:30an to 6pm today, Friday, December 18.
The retail window however will close at 4pm while the backdoor will remain opened until 6pm.
She asks that the public check their mail for pick up notices.
“This helps us find packages faster. And having their IDs on hand makes it easier,” said Suani.
Yesterday the postal facility was packed even before it opened at noon and there were still people lining up for packages at the 6pm closing time.
The Post Master acknowledged ASG customs’ assistance in helping keep the lines moving.
For Saturday, December 19, package release at the back door is from 9am to 3pm.
