Children of Matu’u and Faganeanea and neighboring villages are heading to the CCCAS church hall on the days that they don’t have face to face classes.

There Rev Fouvale Asiata and members of the congregation with teaching experience are helping students with homework and giving them lessons on core subjects.

Rev Asiata says these are difficult times and the whole community must be involved in the education of our children and not depend on DOE or private schools to do the job.

He was concerned about students being idle on the days they’re not in school and started the Matu’u Faganeanea study group with the help of members of his congregation.
