Faafaletui a Tamaitai or Round Table with Pae ma le Auli, the women’s advocacy group, opens this morning at the Lee Auditorium with a keynote speech by First Lady Cynthia Malala Moliga.
Founder and President of Pae ma le Auli, Leiataua Leuga Turner says the purpose of the conference is to remind, encourage and empower women in their roles and values in family and community.
This is especially pertinent at this time when the territory is facing many social issues that affect the sanctity and welfare of the family. Issues like drug abuse, domestic violence, teenage pregnancy and suicide.
