Twenty four graduates receive ASCC scholarships

Twenty-four high school graduates were yesterday awarded scholarships to attend the American Samoa Community College, by the ASG Financial Aid Board.
The scholarships are $4,000 per year.
Parents of the recipients attended a presentation ceremony at the DOE conference room where Chairman of the Financial Aid Board Senator Faiivae Alex Godinet and Director of Education Dr. Ruth Matagi-Tofiga congratulated the recipients and encouraged them to  remain focused and stay the course especially during these times of uncertainty.
