
Last Thursday the Pacific Risk Management ‘Ohana (PRiMO) Conference held at the Honolulu Convention Center, presented the “Partnership Award” to Ginger Porter, UH-TASI Pacific Desk, Tafa Tua-Tupuola of the AS-University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities (UCEDD), and Elinor Lutu-McMoore of the Pago Pago National Weather Service for the successful planning in hosting the 2019 PRiMO Conference that attracted more than 150 participants from across 9 countries and 14 states.
A special “Partnership Award” presentation was made in honor of the late Deputy Director of the American Samoa Department of Homeland Security, Mrs. Jacinta Brown.
She was recognized for representing American Samoa at a Pacific Regional level throughout her years of leadership. Brown was known as an elegant diplomatic leader to her Pacific and Federal partners.
Also present at the PRIMO Conference as keynote speakers were the Deputy
Prime Minister of Samoa Fiame Mata’afa and Prime Minister of Cook Islands Henry Puna.
