There’s been no change in the high school graduation schedule which was announced earlier by Director of Education Dr. Ruth Matagi Tofiga due to school cancellations during the recent weather events.
However due to the COVID-19 outbreak Doe has been informed by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) President Dr Groves accreditation for Nu’uuli Vocational Technical High School, Samoana and Leone High School have been extended to January 31, 2021
Tafuna High School mid quarter visit has also neen rescheduled.
WASC is also reschedueling accreditation visits for Faleasao, Pava’ia’i, Matatula and Mt. Alava elementary schools.
DOE Director Dr. Matagi Tofiga said DOE is planning its calendar for the rest of the school year to take into account inclement weather conditions.
In addition all public schools, working together with the Department of Health is emphasizing proper hand washing and sanitizing.
All school principals and staff are encouraged to keep their school campuses clean.

- NVTH: June 16
- Leone High School: June 17
- Tafuna High School: June 18
- Fagaitua High School: June 19
