Hawaiian Air is giving travelers a break on charges and fees for flight changes brought about by the evolving COVID-19 situation.
The airline has announced that guests who book any of its flights between March 1-16 may change their travel to a future date without incurring change fees.
A one time change fee waiver will be granted for tickets that are purchased March 1-16 for any Hawaiian Air flight.
This waiver allows a one time change per ticket without a fee.
Any subsequent changes will be subject to regular change rules and applicable to the originally ticketed fare.
The change fee will be waived, but any applicable fare difference will be collected for the new flight.
To receive the one time waiver of change fee, guests must contact Hawaiialn Airlines no later than 24 hours prior to departure.
Guests who have purchased their tickets through Hawaiian Airlines directly (online or via their contact center) should contact Hawaiian Airlines Reservations to request changes.
Guests who have purchased their tickets through a travel agency will need to request changes through their agency directly.
Voluntary changes made to the origin, destination and or via stopover point will be permitted without a change fee, however any applicable fare difference will apply.<
Hawaiian Airlines reservation handling fees and HawaiianMiles award redeposit fees will be waived.
