The seven Taiwanese travelers who arrived on Monday night’s Hawaiian Air and ended up being quarantined at the Leone Health Center, are here to pay their respects to a missionary colleague who passed away last year.

The  women missionaries had obtained their OK boards from the Attorney General’s Office in January and according to local residents who helped arrange for their visit, enquiries were made with the AG’s staff before the group left Honolulu.

And they were told everything was in order.

But when they arrived here  on Monday night they were faced with either being put back on the plane or being taken in for quarantine .

The missionaries were taken to the Leone Health Center without their luggage which was held by DOH,  As of yesterday ther luggage had not been released.

The group has asked that they be allowed to leave tomorrow night and are requesting a chance to visit their Samoan colleague’s grave.
