The day after White Sunday is Columbus Day and it’s a federal and ASG holiday.
Acting Governor Lemanu Peleti Mauga said in a memo that all ASG offices will be closed on Monday and those who have to work in essential services will be afforded holiday pay as provided by law.
It’s also a federal holiday so the Post Office, Social Security Office and other federal agencies will be closed.
Banks will be closed, StarKist has no production and most stores will not be opened.
