The investigation of the 11 pounds of methamphetamine that came through the local post office two weeks ago is continuing.

KHJ News has learned that the Vice and Narcotics Division of DPS is interviewing Customs agents on duty the day the box containing the meth was discovered for purposes of defining the chain of custody.

Police are also tracking the movements of the female who went to the post office to claim the box.

Reliable sources tell KHJ News that unlike previous drug finds in the mail, in this case the packets of meth were not hidden among other items but were packed in a separate box.
