There’s a special celebration in Leone this coming Sunday and Monday.
The celebration marks the 102nd anniversary of the apparition of Mother Mary of Fatima, Portugal to three shepherd children: Lucia, Jacinta and Francisco with a message to pray the Rosary for world peace.
The World Apostolic of Fatima in American Samoa, led by Spiritual Director Father Setefano Tuisea, marks the anniversary with a procession on Sunday afternoon starting from the Miracle Leaf Chapel, opposite Faasao Marist High School to the Holy Cross Church in Leone.
The procession starts at 3 pm.
At the Holy Cross Church there will be a Benediction and Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament followed by a Vigil and recital of the Rosary at the Miracle Leaf Chapel.
On Monday at 6 am is the Lady of Fatima anniversary Mass at the Holy Cross Church, Leone, led by Fr. Kelemete Puaauli.
The World Apostolic of Fatima invites the public especially all Marian, Divine Mercy and Sacred Heart Societies to join the celebration.
