A recent visitor to Governor Lolo Moliga in Seattle, Washington was Lewis Wolman, CEO of the American Samoa Telecommunications Authority

Wolman had the opportunity to visit with the governor this past weekend as he passed through Seattle on a personal trip. The visit took place in an apartment building where the governor is staying.

Wolman said that the governor looked good and in full charge.

He told KHJ News that Governor Lolo urged him to continue pushing hard to implement the plans for ASTCA’s new mobile network and other ASTCA improvements that have been underway since the commissioning of the Hawaiki submarine fibre optic cable last year.

Wolman said the governor was particularly happy to hear that ASTCA crews are building new cell towers this month in Manu’a, to expand and improve mobile telephone service in Ofu, Olosega, and Ta’u.
