Sau Ia Bodybuilding held its very first Under 18 Bodybuilding Competition last Saturday at their gym in Petesa,
Federation President Peter Reid III says this is the first of many competitions targeting the youth.

There were 12 contestants; 5 girls and 7 boys. Federation Vice President Sala McMoore coached the contestants for presentation and poses before the judges. Medals, trophies and cash awards were awarded to winners.
Reid says they’ve been visiting the high schools and credits Saturday’s great turnout to a local high school teacher, Ms. Pesi, who offers extra credit to interested students. 
Sau Ia Bodybuilding enlisted the help of ASNOC and Weightlifting Federation president Ed Imo, and bodybuilders Floyd Scanlon and Aunese Tauinaola, to serve as judges for the youth competition.
Sau Ia Bodybuilding is an organization recognized by the International Federation of Bodybuilding and a national federation of the ASNOC.
