It seems that Hawaiian Air forgot to tell their staff in Honolulu and update their reservations systems regarding the change of flight dates and times for their Honolulu Pago Pago service.

Callers to KHJ News say that airline staff in Honolulu say they have not received any word on the changes to the Honolulu Pago Pago flights.

One caller from the mainland who was checking on bookings for family members traveling from here next week, said when he contacted a Hawaiian Air rep, he was told they cannot alter any existing bookings/reservations because they haven’t been told of the changes.

Two residents also reported that when they called Hawaiian Air’s 800 reservation number they learned that the flight days had not changed.

When contacted for an explanation, Hawaiian Air Vice President Ann Botticelli said, “That was very unfortunate. This should be resolved. Please ask your correspondents to try again.”
