
The book “Palemia,” the memoirs of Samoa Prime Minister Tuilaepa Sailele Malielegaoi tells not just the story of a boy from a small village in Samoa’s rise to lead the country, it also emphasizes how having sound fiscal policies contribute to economic growth and a stable country.
Tuilaepa, an economist by profession, is credited for Samoa’s economic success though as writer of Palemia, Dr. Peter Swain, pointed out in remarks at the local launch of the book Friday, Tuilaepa attracts a lot of criticism.
