An official hand over ceremony was held yesterday at the third floor of the centennial building in Utulei whereby keys for what used to be the Bank of Hawaii were turned over to Governor Lolo Moliga.
The space is where the government charter bank, the Territorial Bank of American Samoa plans to open by October 3.
Here in behalf of Bank of Hawaii for the handover ceremony was Hobbs Lawson, Senior Vice President and West Pacific Regional Manager who presented the keys to the building to Governor Lolo Moliga.

ASG assumes the same monthly lease payment.of $22,454.38 that BOH was paying.
BOH is now opened at the BOH branch in Tafuna which closed in 2013.
TBAS staff have moved into the space that BOH vacated and will now work on setting up the bank with furniture, supplies, equipment, etc;
Teller training begins next week. Operations Manager for TBAS is a former executive of ANZ, Makerita Polu.
The bank will open with the basic deposit products like checking and savings and then add loans a month later.
