Rotary Club Donates Blankets, Sheets, Towels to LBJ


The LBJ Hospital will be flush with close to 2,000 pounds of new blankets, bed sheets and bath towels thanks to the Rotary Club of Pago Pago.

For the last few months, churches, businesses, and community organizations have been donating bedding and linen supplies to the local hospital.

Today in the LBJ Chapel  Rotary Past President Taulapapa Will Sword and other Rotarians presented their donations for the hospital to the LBJ nursing staff and Procurment Manager Sinasina Joe Langkilde.

Rotary was able to make the donation with special help from Outrigger Hotels, Hawaiian Airlines, Island Cargo Support and CSL.

LBJ’s Procurement Manager Sinasina Joe Langkilde spoke on behalf of the Hospital Authority Board and management to thank Rotary for their good deed.
