A body believed to be that of an Asian fisherman from a fishing boat anchored at the Samoa Tuna Processors dock, was found in the sea in the vicinity of the cannery this morning.
Commissioner of Public Safety Save Liuato Tuitele says DPS was notified last night that a crew member fell overboard after an outing last night.
After 11 this morning the body was found in between fishing vssels docked near Samoa Tuna Processors.
The victim is said to be in his early 40’s.
The Commissioner says CID investigators are assigned to investigate the man’s death.
