A team from Hawaii is on island this week providing services to local veterans with low vision. Led by Blind Rehab Services, the group is working closely with the Visual Impairment Services Team to connect veterans with specialized care.
Ms. Sofaia L.T. Kreider, Coordinator for Blind Rehab Services, joined the KHJ Morning Show to introduce the program and encourage veterans to take advantage of these free services while the team is here.
Kreider says the goal is to make sure every veteran facing vision challenges knows help is available and accessible right here at home.
