The event is organized and hosted by Kalista Koloi, and will feature guest appearances from Dr. Jueta McCutchan, a mental health specialist, and Devynne Fuga Ah-Mai, representing Mosoo’i/ABLE.
A unique open mic event titled “The Storm and The Savior” is set to take place on Saturday, August 9th, from 5–9 PM at DDW Restaurant. This community event will focus on mental health and resilience through faith, offering a powerful evening of storytelling, spoken word, and shared experiences.
“This event is about breaking the silence around mental health struggles and finding strength in shared faith,” says Koloi.
