Public Invited to Share Input on Home- and Community-Based Services
PAGO PAGO, AMERICAN SAMOA – Members of the public are invited to take part in a Home- and Community-Based Services (HCBS) Needs Assessment & Public Input Session scheduled for Tuesday, May 27, from 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM.
The session will be led by Tafaimamao Tua-Tupuola, State Director, and Katrina Helsham, Communications Manager, and is focused on gathering valuable input from caregivers, individuals with developmental disabilities, and their families. The information collected will help shape future HCBS support services in the territory.
“This assessment is about listening to the community,” said Tua-Tupuola. “By collecting stories and data, we can better understand the needs and build stronger support systems.”
All caregivers (paid or unpaid), families, and individuals connected to developmental disability services are encouraged to attend and contribute their voice to the process.
